Isaac M. Rothermel, MSRE


Isaac Rothermel is the founder of Storage Investment Capital and is responsible for overseeing all investment activity and the strategic direction of the firm. Currently his portfolio of self storage includes seven properties across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest, with an additional four properties in development for a total of ~550,000 NRSF.

Prior to founding SIC, Mr. Rothermel was a partner in a self storage investment company. Previously, he has been the director of acquisitions for a self storage company focused on adaptive reuse, an associate in the student housing industry where he analyzed over $26 billion in investments, and an analyst for a self storage brokerage and development firm. He also founded a consulting firm called Storage Investment Consulting to help investors place capital prudently and confidently in self storage assets, where he assisted investors in 23 states.

Mr. Rothermel earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities from Thomas Edison State University and his Master’s in Real Estate degree from Georgetown University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania and has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and Congress of New Urbanism Accredited (CNU-A) designation. Mr. Rothermel serves as an adjunct professor in Georgetown University’s Master’s in Real Estate program.

Peter Sollecito


Peter Sollecito is a Principal of Storage Investment Capital and is responsible for identifying new development & acquisition opportunities, conducting market analysis, financial structuring, underwriting, capital raising, and closing.

Prior to SIC, Mr. Sollecito developed his broad CRE skillset through various roles & consulting projects with real estate private equity investment shops, luxury multifamily & student housing developers, institutional capital markets brokerage & investment sales brokerage advisors, and sponsor development groups in the self storage, multifamily, and single-family-build-for-rent sectors. Most recently Mr. Sollecito was the Director of Acquisitions for a seasoned self-storage development group which primarily focused on conversions of existing big-box retail & industrial buildings.

Mr. Sollecito earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance and Real Estate from Villanova University School of Business. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in Pennsylvania, and an active member of the Union League of Philadelphia.
